Therese Nadler, MS, RDN, LDN

Founder, Nadler Nutrition | Functional & Integrative Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Therese Nadler is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with more than 20 years of experience spanning clinical nutrition, public health, corporate wellness, and the food industry. She is the founder of Nadler Nutrition, a functional and integrative nutrition practice based in Annapolis, Maryland, where she helps children, families, and adults improve their health through personalized, evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle interventions.

Therese brings a unique perspective to the conversation around ultra-processed foods, having worked on both sides of the food and health equation. She began her career at Whole Foods Market, serving as Associate Marketing Director and later Executive Marketing Director for the Northeast region. In these roles, she worked closely with food product teams, developed consumer-facing marketing initiatives, and helped shape how food products and nutrition-related messages were communicated to the public. This experience provided valuable insight into the intersection of food marketing, consumer behavior, and dietary choices.

She subsequently held leadership positions at Optum/UnitedHealth Group, where she developed and delivered nutrition and wellness programming for Fortune 500 companies and helped lead national health initiatives reaching millions of Americans.

Today, her clinical work emphasizes the relationship between dietary patterns, gut health, metabolic function, inflammation, and long-term health. With a particular interest in pediatric nutrition, she helps families navigate selective eating, expand food variety, and develop sustainable eating habits in an increasingly processed food environment.

Therese holds a Master of Science in Nutrition & Public Health from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. She is passionate about translating complex nutrition science into accessible, practical strategies that empower individuals and families to make informed food choices and build healthier relationships with food.
